My 10-year-old daughter developed a love for Elvis about a year ago. She knows every song lyric, every detail of the story of his life, and is even teaching herself to play guitar. So, it did not come as a surprise when she told me that she wanted to be Elvis for Halloween. This was her first year choosing her costume entirely on her own, and I wanted to give her an outfit that would bring her vision to life, no matter the cost.
After searching Amazon and visiting a few Halloween stores, I was disappointed. Most options looked cheap and didn’t include anything beyond the basic jumpsuit. I kept searching, convinced there had to be something better out there. Finally, after a bit of Googling, I stumbled upon Trish Scully’s Elvis costume. It looked perfect: a full five-piece set with the wig, iconic sunglasses, and even the red scarf, which most from other retailers did not include. After reading reviews, I didn’t hesitate to order, and to my surprise it was even on sale for a fantastic price.
The costume arrived quickly, giving us plenty of time to get everything else we needed. When she put it on, the quality was evident—the fit was perfect, and the costume itself was so well-designed that she didn’t need much else to complete the look. She was absolutely thrilled with it.
On the night of her school’s Halloween dance, she was a star! From the moment she stepped out of the car, people were honking and shouting compliments to her. Once we got inside, it was nonstop attention. Parents, teachers, and kids alike were blown away by her costume, and everyone wanted a photo with “Elvis.” To top it all off, she won the costume contest, beating out over 100 other kids! She felt like a million bucks and absolutely loved every minute of it.
