First off, I chose this particular style over the other Alice dress Trish Scully has because of the suits of cards on the skirt, which tied in perfectly to my 3-year-old wearing the Queen of My Heart dress. The coordination of the Trish Scully costumes is unmatched anywhere else, in my opinion. The blue of the dress is a lot truer blue than the pictures even show. It’s the blue of a perfect, cloudless sky on a summer day. My daughter who wore the dress is a special needs child with sensory processing disorder, autism, and intellectual disability. That being said, she is VERY finicky about her clothes. I’ve never had any trouble getting her to wear Trish Scully dresses, and we own quite a few. This dress is no exception, despite being a costume. It has a nice, full skirt but without all the itchy netting. It has a soft and thin piece of material under the skirt that touches the skin. The netting does not come into contact with skin, which is great for us. The top of the dress is comfortable and simply darling. My daughter has long blonde hair and wore this dress just like a dainty little Alice. She felt really good about herself and got a ton of compliments. She and my son, who wore the Trish Scully White Rabbit costume, both have special needs, and the positive attention they got in these costumes just made their night. They loved all the compliments they got. I am already excited about getting them coordinating costumes for next year.
